Clearing offline book cache

I tried downloading some books and ended up running out of space (iPhone 3G). I switched some to offline but it doesn't appear that they are getting deleted because iTunes still complains that there isn't enough space to sync. Is there a way to clear the cache?

I fixed it by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Logos app. It seems that the app doesn't always clear its cache when clearing the offline setting for a book, or takes a very long time.
