Bug-ish: Syriac Apocalypse Daniel and iOS8 (a sign!)

I've got the latest Logos Bible app and  iOS 8.0 (not the .01 version).

Everything was proceeding apace in the english introductory text. Then I moved into the syriac text and it was fine too.  But I proceeded into the middle of the syriac text, the gestures locked up (move forward/backward) and then the scroller on the bottom.  Top and left menu panels were fine.

After re-booting the iPad, the syriac part locked up even further.  The scroller however could shift to the introductory text (before) or the translation text (after).  If I were guessing, I'd think the relation of gestures to 'backward' text but just guessing in iOS8.  Could be a fluke in the resource.

Haven't had any issues with this resource in L5/Windows.

They have already released iOS 8.02.

I am on beta and didn't update to iOS 8 until release day. Apparently there were a few bugs in the app which have been fixed in the current beta. I <think> something about gestures may have been part of that. Logos has already submitted the app to Apple, just waiting for the green light from them.

Yes ... with Audiobus such a mess at the moment, I'm reluctant to do any more ios8 updating.  I didn't think such things could happen in Apple-world.

And the new gestures are really getting tiring; but I like the iOS popup that says 'If you want to go back to the older version, you better do it fast!'  (True!)

BTW if you return: What happened to reporting obvious resource bugs (eg Esdras pointing to Esther) on mobiles.  I don't want to start a new thread if they've already answered, etc.  Or if already can report it.  I've got bunches of resources on my iPad I've not downloaded to Logos5, to avoid the monster indexing.

At this point, the devs have not committed to bringing reporting typos and resource bugs to the iOS platform. You can either report it within L5 or (since you may not want to download the resource to L5) you can report it in the appropriate forum. My guess as to the "appropriate" forum? Either "general" or "suggestions." You can also send emails, but I can't remember the email address at present.
