Myrtlefield Expositions - David Gooding - take another look

The Myrtlefield Expositions set by David Gooding appears to be quite worthwhile. It is currently on pre-pub at about $55 but seems to be stuck at about 50%.

Would you take another look to see if it is something you'd profit from? I suggest looking at the preview pages on the Luke volume for a sense of what Dr. Gooding is attempting to provide and to get a sample of his thinking and prose. If you like it, take the pre-pub offer and help it get closer to production.

Yes, legally. I noticed the site was down or at least was yesterday, but just checked and is back up. Dr Gooding and the Myrtlefield Trust has done this for years.

Having these resources in Logos would be a great addition because of the tagging etc.

I first became aware of David Gooding's Luke commentary while reading Phil Ryken's two volume commentary on Luke in the Reformed Expository Commentary series. Ryken cites Gooding's commentary very frequently.

I don't have the pdf copies so my observations are based on the limited previews on the Logos web site, but I think I can understand why that would be the case. Fine recommendation.

Dr Gooding is one of the humblest believers I have ever met. A true servant whose interest has always been in using his tremendous intellect to spread the gospel and help believers grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ.
