http://community.logos.com/forums/p/9056/71869.aspx#71869 is for Logos4 so I wanted to make sure I added this to Logos5 as well.

Can anyone explain how the Passage Guide Cross References section gets its references?

I just added the NTSK and it shows up there but:

1) Not all references are listed in the cross ref section (from either TSK or NTSK it appears)

2) What happens if I "Remove" one by clicking the X in that section, can it be re-added?

Also, is there a way to find or make additional cross references to enhance that area myself?  (Personal or Resource content)

    Thanks!

Into the black hole of discussions I venture.

I did run across how to make my own using a note (https://wiki.logos.com/Hints_and_Tips) but have yet to try it and I don't think it will add my references, just put "My Cross Reference" and a hyperlink in the section.

I'm still pretty new to knowing how the layout interacts so I read somewhere about creating a custom passage guide to similar things for me so I'll have to spend some time on that.

The short answer to your main question is that the section is created by mining the cross-references in all the Bibles you own. The more common cross-references (i.e. the ones found in several Bibles) are placed first and written in full, the less common ones are placed subsequently in a list.

The NTSK references are not listed in that section. Rather, you're given the link to click on so you can see them for yourself (that way you get more detail).

Clicking the X to hide the NTSK will only affect that saved Passage Guide (i.e. the Passage Guide for that specific passage). If you re-run the PG on another passage, or refresh this one, then the NTSK will return.

Finally, it's not possible to add your own cross references to this section.
