BUG? no tray icon when minimized

I think this is a bug..
When I open and minimize Logos the tray icon does not appear in the bottom right corner.
Windows 8.1 x64. All patches applied.
Logos 5.2b SR-4

In Windows 7 The Tray icon is only visible when Indexing, or a download/ update is in process. (Else your Windows settings are blocking it?)
Is it supposed to be there in Windows 8?
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Nothing's being blocked.
If this is a false alarm, my apologies. It must have slipped my mind that the icon isn't always there. Thanks for reminding me.
Or, how about giving an option to have the tray icon show up all the time? ...[;)]

The main Logos window minimises to the taskbar; this is by design.
The taskbar notification icon only appears when the Indexer is running, to notify you of its current status.

It would be nice to know if Logos is running in the background. I often have many windows open at once, and I tend to lose track.

Would you not see it open on the taskbar itself??

Actually, that is true. But it only turns a slightly lighter shade of gray for me.
If I had a choice, I'd like an icon on the bottom right as well. I guess it's something I've gotten used to since early 95/XP days/
