Can anyone suggest an English biography on a Brakel. I can't read Dutch and can not find any biographies in English.

There is a brief biographical summary on the site abrakel[dot]com. This seems to be taken from the book "The Pastor and Practical Theology of Wilhelmus à Brakel" by Bartel Elshout (Grand Rapids, 1997), but I can't find any other reference to this book.
The new Schaff-Herzog encyclopedia of religious knowledge has entries on several Dutch puritan theologians, but not on A Brakel. [:(]
