Logos disappears from taskbar

Hi,
When I'm using Logos 5 in Windows 8.1, the program disappears after some time from the taskbar. Is there a solution for this strange behaviour?
Thanks,
RRH

When Logos is running right click the icon in the Taskbar and select "Pin this program to taskbar".

Thanks Dave,
But with this option it stays 'forever' there...

I'm not aware of any other behaviour and you don't have a Start Menu to pin it on! Please explain what you were expecting.

It has happened to me as well when Logos is running in the background. Program is running but there is no icon on then taskbar. By using alt-tab or minimizing the windows of the other running programs you can get back to it.

That has probably clarified what RRH was describing!
Does it happen if Logos is pinned to the Taskbar? What version of Windows are you running?

What George writes is right. When you open a program, Windows 8.1 shows it in the taskbar and gives you the possibility to switch between the programs that are opened (like ALT+TAB).
But when I start Logos the 'bar' (Icon + 'Logos Bible Softw...') disappears after some time when I click on it to switch programs. So Logos is still running (ALT+TAB), but is not visible in the taskbar anymore.
At the moment I'm searching for a reason for this strange behaviour... I discovered that when I remove Logos from my second screen to my first screen, the 'bar' appears again.

It would be helpful to refine this e.g. this is only connected with a two screen display after moving Logos to the second screen.

I am also using two screens but I don't know under what circumstances ii vanishes. I never pinned it to the taskbar because I never pin anything to the taskbar. It is not a big deal to me but I know it happenes. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro N x64 all patched up.

Are you running any multi-monitor management software? like UltraMon? Or software that came with video card for managing multi-monitor setups? Does it happen with other programs? This doesn't seem like a Logos issue, more a problem with the program managing your desktops.

It may also be an issue with Windows 8.1 regardless of extra software.
I found one post that may indicate something with the way Win8 is handling multiple monitors (vaguely corollary)
And
Another that ties it to Win8 and suggests Dave's workaround of pinning it to the taskbar.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

No other software running. At the moment it only happens with Logos.
