Logos Product Collection Group—Help Me Kick the Tires

Hello all,
We occasionally hear the question:
"How do I see/search this great new collection or Base Package that I just bought?"
To answer that question in a more elegant way, we've recently created a resource collection for some of our most popular product collections and stored them all in a public Faithlife group called Product Collections. We started with 5 publisher defined collections:
- Baker Illustrated Reference Collection
- Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle
- Holman Reference Collection
- Eerdmans Gospel Studies Collection
- The Essential IVP Reference Collection Version 3
And when those seemed to work, we also added collections for all Logos 5 base packages.
Now I'd love your help testing to make sure these work like intended.
If all is well, we'll move on to Bundles, and Logos 4 base packages.
Thanks in advance for your helpful feedback.

Your links are all dead.
"Not found
The page you are trying to access does not exist."
EDIT: The Product Collections works. Are the other five intended to be links?

I used the link that took me to the FaithLife Page. Click on the blue term, Product Collections. And then join the group and go under the documents tab.

Yeah, I thought we were ready, but found a bug as I posted and pulled them all down.
They'll be back shortly. I'll post an update.

Sorry for the false start on this. The bug has proven more elusive than most. When we get it figured out, I'll update this thread.

I did this much, now what? I've yet to figure out how to get a copy to do something with. There must be something simple I'm missing [:|]

You have to join the group. In the upper right hand corner of the page is a join button. Then you can go under the documents tab, to click the action button, and then the copy button. Then when you sync your Logos desktop they will appear in your documents and be available for searches.Robert Harner said:Kenneth Neighoff said:I used the link that took me to the FaithLife Page. Thanks, it was the part that it magically appears in Logos that i missed. By Logos desktop documents I assume you mean "Documents" to the left of "Guides." I don't see any of them there yet. Logos suddenly decided to download 50.7MB and now restarted and still do not see anything. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place.

Select the search button Robert.
Then look for the blue perforated text
Select the text and type the name of one of the collections.
Select the appropriate collection that was copied from the documents menu.
They can also be seen from collections.
1. Tools
2. Collections
3. Open collections and type the name of a collection that you copied.

Ahhh - Thanks Lynden! I've tried to get these types of things before but I thought something was supposed to be downloaded. My midheimers is getting worse. Now I need to go through my 400 or so collections to see what else was magically put there in the past.
These are nice to have, Thanks Ray.

I am wondering if Verbum Capstone + will be in any way useful for the older Verbum Capstone collection.

I think you are up to something here. They could of course add a collection for the Verbum Capstone sans + , but the point is that other collections (like Bronze, Silver, Gold) exist in very different releases. They are given the LE, KF, IH ... version numbers for a reason, and the collections should reflect that.
Have joy in the Lord!
