I could not find it, I think Logos has 2nd edition of Holmes, not 3rd edition. There were some translations differences (improvements? I would assume).

I assume I am correct 3rd edition does not exist yet in Logos, are there plans for it, does anyone know?

Thanks!

There is an updated edition from 1999. The second edition was from 1992. Is there another edition you are thinking of (3rd)?

    Hi Don.

The edition in Logos is based on the 2nd edition. The English portion matches that edition. The Greek is a little weird -- it is more than the 2nd edition, but not the 3rd edition. During our (Logos') development cycle on the 2nd edition, we supplied several corrections to the Greek that were confirmed by Dr. Holmes; these corrections made it into the print of the 3rd edition. He also supplied us with other corrections made to the 2nd edition.

The Greek apparatus in the third edition of the print is completely revised.

    So, to answer your questions:

Yes, you are correct, the 3rd edition does not yet exist in Logos (though the Greek text of the 2nd ed in Logos is pretty close).

Regarding plans for future resources, we're pretty transparent. If it isn't on the prepub page, then it probably isn't on our immediate radar.

    Don,

If you must have the 3rd edition in an electronic form, FYI it is available in another electronic resource.
