Newby Question about Logos
Sorry if the answer is more obvious,
I purchased the Baptist Starter package, and then purchased a few sermon starter resources.
When I go to use the Sermon Starter Guide, no title of what I search for shows up, only a verse.
No theme, sermons, Thematic outlines.
Is there a way to get these from the books I downloaded? The program indexed after the purchases.

Some sermon packages have not been coded as of yet and so do not appear in that section of the Guide.
But you could create your own custom collection and edit it into the guide.
["Somewhere"?] on these threads is a helpful note from Mark Barnes that includes a list of the Sermon collections which have been coded to appear in that Guide. [I am sorry that I cannot remember the thread].

Starter packages do not contain the datasets to produce Preaching Themes or Thematic Outlines.
Unfortunately the Baptist package web page does not list datasets at all so you would have had no way to know this. In fact I am just guessing that what applies to other denominational packages and to Logos 5 packages applies to Baptist packages. In those others, until you buy the Bronze package, or add in the Minimal Crossgrade (which appears on the Logos 5 packages page) you do not get the datasets to support these functions.
Many sermon resources are not yet tagged by Logos to appear in the Sermon section of the Sermon Starter Guide. Logos is adding these constantly, but this is a relatively new feature for Logos 5 and there is a huge backlog of sermons. It is likely none of the sermons you have are tagged for this section or if they are, you selected a passage with no sermons in the books you have.
I am not the bearer of good news. You can call Logos and ask them about the missing datasets and the fact that that information is NOT on the Baptist base package web page. However I think you really have one of two options: return the Starter package (you have 30 days to do so) and purchase Bronze, or add the Minimal Crossgrade (about $150) to get the datasets.
