BUG: Logos 5.3 Beta 3 (5.3.0.1161) won't install

Hi,
I'm attempting to update to the newest beta release - Logos 5.3 Beta 3 (5.3.0.1161). The installation begins, but I quickly get the following error...
After receiving this error I have started the installation from the Run As Administrator multiple times, but I receive this same error each time. I've attached my error log to this email.
Thanks!

Hi,
Unfortunately, following those steps did not solve the problem.

The error logs don't help with installation problems, unfortunately. We'd need to see as many of these as you have:
- LogosSetup.log
- PrerequisitesInstall.log
- DigitalLibraryInstall.log

Ah, that makes sense now that I think about it. The logs you requested are attached.
Thanks for the help!

These are all logs from a long time ago, so it looks like the installer isn't logging now.
You'll need to configure logging for setup (follow step 4 from https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/problem), then try the installation again. You should get a new set of logs to upload.

Let me know if these still aren't the correct logs, perhaps I'm lookin in the wrong place.
Thanks!

These are still very old - 2010/11
Did you follow step 4 in the link referenced by Mark above?
The log files should be in "Logos Log Files" in your "My Documents" folder

If you haven't shutdown since the problem showed up, you might want to do a reboot, esp if there are any pending Windows updates or application installs that requested a reboot.
What version of Logos are upgrading from? A previous 5.3 beta?
If (and only if) you are upgrading from a previous version of the 5.3 beta and since you've corrected the permissions there as per above, I'm curious what happens if you try to install just the Logos bits, without the prerequisites:
http://downloads.logoscdn.com/LBS5/InstallerBeta/5.3.0.1161/Logos-x64.msi (for 64 bit Logos)
http://downloads.logoscdn.com/LBS5/InstallerBeta/5.3.0.1161/Logos-x86.msi (for 32 bit Logos)
You should not need to Run as Administrator.

Yep, I followed the instructions and pulled the log files from the correct folder. I'm going to try completely wiping and reinstalling Logos 5 later this evening.

Okay all, update on the fix. I happened to re-attempt the install at work and it installed just fine. We run an in-house network/server that my computer is always connected to while at work, so it must have something to do with being connected to that.
If you've got some insight on why this might be, please let me know!
Thanks!

Was the original problem at work and it is now installed OK? Or do you still have a problem at home (different computer)?
Work installations depend on the domain authorisations you are given and you have to work with the Network Administrator to get new permissions. An installation to the C: drive might be disallowed, but you could install to another drive.
Exactly how did you attempt to install/update e.g. by logging on outside the company network whilst at home?
