Hello everyone:
You all have been such a wealth of information that I thought I would beg of your time once again. I just purchased Scholars Silver and have made it through the tutorials but without a manual, I think I am missing some "basic" navigation rules. Things that I would consider to be very common and I'm sure Logos offers it (I hope), but can't figure out how to do the following ...
- Is there a back button? If I highlight a text or accidentally close a window, for example and change my mind, I would like to be able to use a back button to erase what I just did. Can I?
- When I go to highlight text, I would have assumed it would have been as simple as right-clicking and selecting "highlight". The only way I see to do it is by opening up Tools and selecting "highlight". Please tell me there is an easier way
. Any shortcuts?
- I am BIG on taking notes (you should see my paper Bible). I would like to add a million notes (my own thoughts on many verses). When I select a word, though, and right-click on it, I only see that I can add a note to a previous note instead of adding a new note for a new thought ... not adding a new note to a previously captioned note. Is there a simple way to do this?
- Lastly (for now), I am also BIG on categorizing. Labeling specific words, verses, etc... to a category. Some categories that I have set up in my paper Bible are, "Election", "Sovereignty of God", "Living a Holy life", etc... I am desperately trying to find how to take a verse and categorize it as such.
Again, I can only assume (and pray) that these are "basic" necessities of any Bible software and hope it is with Logos as well but can't find out (yet) how to do it.
Thank you so much for all of your help in advance.
In Christ.
David
