Is there an app for that? Or do I need to install the full Logos on the machine?

there is a hobbled windows app in the windows app store... At least I think it is still there. Very limited. You can run Logos 5 on a surface pro... But that would be the full desktop app, not a mobile one.

Just as Alabama24 said, the great thing about a Surface Pro is that you have the full Logos 5 program on your tablet / computer, including Personal Books.  And it will run great.  There is no app that can do that for you.   The app in the Windows store is fine for just reading, but that is about it.  I haven't bothered to install it on my Surface Pro.

I think you will be very pleased when you get used to running Logos 5 on your Surface pro.  Even though Logos 5 was not designed for touch screen, using the combination of touch screen and a mouse or the touch screen on your keyboard makes for the best Logos experience I have found by far.

I have a Surface Pro 3 and it works great. The pen makes the tiny buttons no problem. Don't even bother with the metro style app in the Windows store. It's not even a good book reader.
