Bug? g:word doesn't make a lot of sense on which letter corresponds
I'm not sure when this started but I was typing in Greek into a syntax graph, using the g:word method and noticed that the English word "Jesus" doesn't work like you'd think it would while typing....
You must type something OTHER than what the letters represent to get the list to populate the word "Jesus"
I had to type "IES" and Jesus came up in a bunch of "iota-epsilon-sigma" type words BUT WON'T COME UP when you type what you THINK it should be based on what the letters are "iota-ata-sigma" for the first three letters.

I have no problem when I type ihsous. It is first in the list. It doesn't show up when I type just ihs, but I really don't look at the drop down list until I completely spell out the word anyway. ihsous only takes a fraction of a second to type, it takes much longer to hunt and pick from a drop down list.
I would think you would have ihsous down pat with as many times Ted Heldebrandt has you type it in his Mastering NT Greek program. [:)]
BTW thanks for your help in getting this program to run under Win7 64.

that's strange that it appears like that when you complete the word but not when you allow logos to complete it...
Anyway...that's a solution that will work for me....that's the only word that I have trouble with Logos completing..
PS: I REALLY have trouble with typing in "Greek Tutor...it always wants the correct accents....I'm horrible at that...

You can turn off the accents. I don't really like some things about it's keyboard layout either. I wish their were not so many different versions of Greek keyboards, but this is the problem with any language. Just look at the MS keyboard options, some languages have a half dozen different keyboard layouts. Thankfully most keys are the same.

When I'm doing the drills where you have to type the words...it fails me if I don't have the accents in the right place....

The breathing mark is not an accent mark. Although it is not technically a letter, it is necessay for the spelling. Without a breathing mark how would I know to read alla or halla?
The breathing marks with this keyboard layout are easy, they are the left and right bracket keys. Just click the "Greek Keyboard" button to see the layout.

Ok....so it's ONLY the breathing marks that are needed...I didn't know that...that clears things up...
