I have two bibles that do not offer a bible text only in visual filter therefore I can only see commentaries. How do I add the text option.
Welcome to the forums Jim. I'm not sure I fully understand what your are asking. What are the specific Bibles you are trying to access? Could you show us a screen shot of what you see?
The MacArthur Study Bible
Welcome! [:)]
Along with Bruce, I am confused by your request. Please ask again and perhaps post screen shots. Make sure to tell us which resources you are using. Also, as a good habit, you should tell us what specific release version you are using and what operating system.
Are you expecting to see the bible text? This resource is the study bible notes, and not the bible text itself. Does that answer your question?
Also, in the future, you should take a look at this website to learn about screen shots. A camera should never be involved. [;)]
Yes, I thought I purchased the bible to include text and commentaries. Sorry for the photo I will learn proper methods for future posts.
Thank you
Hi Jim. In the picture that you posted you are using a study Bible. In Logos, study Bibles only contain the notes and text of the author and not the Bible text itself. In Logos, you have to open up your preferred translation side-by-side of the study Bible notes that you are using. Is the other Bible that you are having troubles with a study Bible too? If so, that is simply how Logos does their study Bibles. I guess that they don't want to duplicate work.
Thank you so much. It certainly puzzled me but now makes perfect sense. Peace and Love my Brother in Christ!
Glad that you seemed to have figured it out now. Please be sure to come back often. The forums is a great place to learn more about how to best use Logos. Blessings!
