Remembering Location Offline

I have noticed that when reading offline the ESV remembers where I was last reading. However other books (Finally Alive, Hodge's Systematic Theology) always jump back to the beginning. Is this a bug or simply a limitation of the current offline reading mode? It would be great for other books to work like the ESV does!

I have the same problem with other books that I am reading as well. Everytime I click on the "Read" it takes me to the ESV Bible and that wasn't the last thing I read and I don't use the ESV and it's not even set as my default Bible

In the case of the iPad, it doesn't even remember what book was open. Or at least it always opens at the home screen (reading plans, news). I'm assuming this is a separate issue (since it acts differently than on the iPhone) and that eventually on the iPad we'll have a way to change this.

Since these devices have somewhat limited display area and one has to switch away from the application at times (to open another application), it can be pretty useful for the application to 'reopen' to the exact same context it had before.

Of course this problem will 'go away' to some degree with OS 4 and multitasking since we won't have the exit the application to use another application (hurray)!

Actually it opens to the Home screen each time by design. When it says it remembers the book location it means that each time you open that book it should open to the last location it was when you last closed it.

As for the opening to same state you last left off, we requested this but since multi-tasking is coming to the OS this summer for iPhone and this fall for iPad, I am sure they won't put resources towards such a big change. Patience will fix this problem.
