Trying to assit someone with a new computer.
Downloaded the intitial file 408K.
Unable to run the setup file.
Uh... That doesn't sound right unless it works differently on windows.
EDIT: OK, so no one answered my question, but apparently so. [:)]
Probably website/network issues on the Faithlife side. It's affecting everything else.
Do you have an error? A dialog box?
I know. What could be blocking it. Assisting a co-worker
No error nothing. It looks like it starts and then nothing.
I can't download the resource update, so I'd expect a new install would fail as well.
You'll need to provide more detail on the error(s) you're seeing.
No error message.
The program installation comes from different servers; it shouldn't be affected by the resource update server being overloaded.

Same here. I purchased an upgrade L6 SDA Silver and since "Update Now" isn't promting anything. I downloaded LogosSetup.exe (480kbs) but setup flickers on and off and finally says that it's unable to install .Net Framework 4.5.
Downloaded from microsoft but doesn't allow me to install because it says I already have it installed.

Does rebooting help you get past this?
It would be helpful to see your LogosSetup.log file, which would be in your C:\Users\Documents\Logos Log Files folder (if you have logging enabled), otherwise in your %TEMP% folder's Logos Log Files folder. (You can type %TEMP% in File Explorer's address bar to get there.)
Thanks,
Bryan

Yes it did. Thanks. When I went to restart there was no indication of update and restart but when I did it anyway it started to do some updates.
