Only sold as part of a base package?

The orange Circle-B icon indicating "Only sold as part of a base package" is next to many resources that are clearly sold outside of base packages.  Is this a bug or am I missing something?

For example, all of these commentary sets are available outside of a base package:

MacBook Pro (2019), ThinkPad E540

OOO. Like the  look (though I'd prefer blue only rather than blue and gray).  [Y]

Is it true these don't need to be washed or ironed or even removed for 72 hours straight and they still look and smell great?

    I hope I don't have to find out! [:|]

The t-shirt is all navy blue; I believe the gray in the photo is the inside of Sean's jacket. [:)]

Just got off the phone with sales.  I was more informed about this than he was because of your response Phil.  The rep said he had other calls waiting and was only going to go by what I told him about this email.  Kind of left hanging there.  Did not feel important enough as a customer to get a good answer.

Phil, by "ignoring this" do you mean that those items listed with the Circle B are included in the upgrades and or crossgrades?

    Thanks,

    James

I think what he means is the indicator for new to 6, and base package only are not accurately reflecting the actual current status of the resources on the website.

Some were available before 6, and some are still available on the website.

We should ignore it while they comb through and find the bug in the system that made it report inaccurately (probably, an under-caffeinated employee pushing buttons at 2am erm I mean, a server glitch)

It wasn't the indicator for "new to 6" I'm talking about.  It was the "Circle B", whether it comes with the upgrade or crossgrade.  It made it look like it did not unless it was a new purchase of a base package.  I thought it was a simple questions and didn't want it to turn into all this.  I just wanted my question answered as to whether is was or was not part of the package I would be upgrading or crossgrading to.  "Ignoring it" and "concern for other people waiting on the phone for customer service did not answer the question I asked.  I think it's ok to ask this since it is a financial decision as to whether something is included in a product or not.  It's simple.  It either does or does not come with the product either specifically for the crossgrade or specifically for the upgrade.  I called customer service looking for clarification.  I guess after being in business for myself for many years and know the effort I gave to my clients I have a high level of satisfaction.  Being told he was not going to contact Phil to even ask about it and because he had other customers waiting left me a bit chapped.  That I had to tell him about the email makes me wonder with they don't tell there sales people had to handle that issue.  The guy really had no idea.  He was honest about it and I was appreciative of that, I just wish he would have put more effort into finding an answer to my question rather than saying other customers were waiting.  Don't you think that if you are spending money on something it's ok to know about what you are receiving or not receiving in the product?

    James,

The sales reps were totally in the dark about the launch until the last minute, so give them a break.

    certainly :)

I (and perhaps others) were approaching it from a different perspective. I discovered this glitch last night on some other products. But my decision had already been made by this point, and the glitch affected a different package from the one I purchased. So I wasn't even thinking about it from the same persepective.

However if you want to know if its included in the crossgrade of your choice, open it in a web browser, and check :). If its there and you're concerned, take a screen shot, and save it for later. If you don't get the title, send that in to customer care, and they will make it right. At least this is how its worked in the past if a resource was overlooked.

    James,

The (B) icon is supposed to mean that the product listed isn't available for sale individually, only as part of a larger package. It doesn't mean that it's not included in a crossgrade. In this context, crossgrades are a form of base package.

Todd was pointing out that some products has a (B) even when there were available individually, and Phil response meant "ignore the (B) icon because it's not accurate".

If you're looking at the crossgrade page (or a base package page), then you'll get the items listed on that page, regardless of whether they have a (B) icon or not).

Yes I was already way past that point of comparison LOL (Had already checked what you said).  That would have just confused the issue more if it had not been listed on the other comparison.  It would have made it look like it only came with a NEW base package.  At least from my perspective.  Thanks for your efforts in answering my questions.  I'm sure it will get ironed out in the end.

Mark do you work for Logos?

No I don't. I'm just a user. Logos employees have a green Faithlife icon under their photo.
