You could place Your cancelled pre-pub orders again if You cancelled

As You can see by the posts a few minutes ago by me and Mike Pettit: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/91904/644620.aspx#644620 ... it's obvious than many (myself not included) were cancelling pre-pubs just to finance forthcoming L6 base-package purchases. I suggest a few of You might want to place some of those pre-pub orders again. Most times, pre-pub is a way to get new (or newly digitized), cherry-picked books into Your library with a discount. The discount is usually not great, but if comparing to base-packages most users will only use a small fraction of their base-package books and/or there are much better or newer books in the same categories, i.e. equivalent, for individual or collection purchase in the Store.

I'm not so certain of your assessment Unix.

I'm in on a lot of CP stuff, that ends up in PP.

Sometimes I'm in because the price is so low, and the topic or perspective intrigues. But quite frequently there are titles that by the time they reach production, I can't remember any more why I was interested. By comparison, Much of the time the Base Packages have many many things I am very interested in, and at prices that can be better than CP or PP.

Not to mention they come with a bunch of other stuff that I may find useful one day.

My process is to sort through the BP, and see what titles I need. Add up their value if purchased separately, and then if it is more expensive than the BP, I buy, if not, then I don't.

Its like a Need/Want/Funds financial hermeneutic.

Unix, I often find that I can upgrade a base package to pick up a commentary or theology set for less than the cost of the individual items I want ... as well as obtain some items that are on my like to have but can't justify list. Yes, I get some books that I have no use for but as Logos has been refining their packages I'm finding less and less of them. - a recent example - upgrading my Lutheran package was less than the Bonhoeffer bundle.
