I currently have about 2GB of updates downloading for L5. If I am updating to L6 can I just cancel this and go straight to the upgrade?
You can, but the upgrade will need to download the same 2gb of updates. So its really a wash, cancel, or don't. Indexing may be slightly faster on the new engine.
