We have heard a couple of reports with regards to videos on 10.10. We will look into the issue and see if we can reproduce. See also https://community.logos.com/forums/t/93041.aspx.

I also have a MacBook pro, Verbum 6.0 build 3700, OS X Yosemite, and the mobile ed videos do not play at all. I just get a screen shot but pressing play does nothing.

Todd,
This issue affects all videos within Logos 6. I am running 10.9 and the videos will not play in Mobile Ed, QuickStart, etc.

I also noticed this on Windows, it only plays the audio for videos.

I am running Logos 6 on Yosemite on my personal late 2008 Macbook and was able to view at least the intro video to Mike Heiser's OT291 course this evening. I watched the first 15 seconds or so fine.
(I was actually trying to not do some work in the evening, and just relax and learn something
)
That said, I'll double check in the morning and we'll keep trying to find out why there are issues for some users. I really am not sure why it worked for me…

Thanks Lewis… I thought it might be a codec issue, but I think based on discussions I've seen among some of our devs here the issue has more to do with program/panel scaling. The thread you linked to that Todd posted seems to validate that.
