Is it just me or do other people have dead 'buy' buttons for the John Stott collection?

No, you are right. The buttons are not active. I'm sure with the commotion of everything yesterday it just got overlooked.
I just checked and its working for me.
They give the appearance of working but are, in fact, not clickable for me either.
