I am trying to decide between the Bronze package ($151 for me) or feature crossgrade ($175 for me)
Do you need/want the resources in bronze or do you want all of the features?
David's answer summarizes the whole process. But what is your starting point? What do you have now? L5 bronze?
I would suggest going with bronze and then the crossgrade (which will be cheaper if processed subsequently). I think someone said after having bought silver, their extended crossgrade cost 100$.Rusty Davidson (Rusty.davidson@faithlife.com) can give you an exact quote. Tell him I sent you
I think I have Platinum in 5. I don't fully get all these datasets/ features. Commentaries are about all I use. I am tempted to just get the starter package and keep putting my money is commentaries. The payment plan is still 24 month limit?
What confuses you about the features/datasets, perhaps we can help clear up any confusion.
FYI I go to chat with logos and they gave me a slightly better price. I just went with his recommendation of the crossgrade.
That's what I did as well.
That works too - developing a relationship with an individual salesman over time can result in not just a "slightly better price" though. I keep track over time of discounts given for various things.Bearing in mind my purchase history is pretty extensive and nearly 5 digits, I have been saved just a little short of 2000$ over the past two years. That hasn't been all rusty fwiw - though my former sales person no longer works at logos. However, I like Rusty better any way.
