Any idea how big of a download Logos 6 is if you are only cross-grading? I have Diamond on L5 that I bought literally a week ago. I hope I am not charged for the new download. That would really put a sour taste in my mouth.
You will have to pay something for a crossgrade, download size depends on which one you choose.
To be honest, I feel like I have been taken for a ride. I got multiple calls last week (sometimes multiple calls in a day) urging me to upgrade because pricing was changing and they couldn't guaranty that the package I wanted was going to be available. I bit the bullet really before I was ready to do so, and a week later, 6 comes out, for a fee of course. Seems dishonest to me, like a money grab.
You should really get in touch with Logos; I believe they have a special discount for those who recently purchased a base package. I purchased the Feature Crossgrade and it came as a 200+MB download and then a 500+MB download if I'm not mistaken.
Josh it wasn't dishonest. Those base packages do not exist anymore as Logos reworked them from scratch for L6. That being said you did not lose anything by purchasing last week and then having to purchase L6 today. You are still gaining features.
