still showing Logos 5
I downloaded what I thought was Logos 6 (1.9GB) and after installation, it is still showing Logos 5.2b sr 7. Any ideas why I never got Logos 6?

Did you pay for a L6 base package upgrade?
That download may have been the massive update to everyones L5 library for me that update was 1.3GB. Then after i upgraded L6 i had a second 1.27GB download.

That might have been the previously mentioned resource update: https://blog.logos.com/2014/10/new-logos-5-update-smart-selection/
There were some issues with updating to the Logos 6 release from the 5.3 beta. You can try typing "Set update channel to stable" and seeing if that updates automatically, or you can click the download links on the base package pages at Logos.com if you've logged in with your Faithlife account and download the client from there

My understanding is it won't update to the Logos 6 engine automatically until February (and even perhaps not automatically then; you'll have to intentionally go to the install page to download it) unless you bought at least a crossgrade. Right, Tom?

If indeed I can buy this crossgrade, where do I go to get it? "Set update channel to stable" only showed no updates were available.

Thanks for the reply Lynden. I'm understanding this to be the Logos 6 core crossgrade for 139 dollars Canadian. Is this the right one? I thought last time when we upgraded from Logos 4 to 5, it cost something like 20 something dollars.
If I'm way off kilter, am I right that there is no charge for this come February?

Be careful Bootjack. Sometimes it is more valuable/cheaper in the long run to buy a base package than the cross grade.

I have the Silver package and have no intention of buying any larger package, so it would be best for me to go to the Core Package. I'm just waiting to see if it is free come February.

What you get in February is the free engine, what you get now is the engine plus some of the datasets etc..
Everything you see listed under Core Crossgrade does not come with the free engine. They may not be accessible.
