resource opening in a nominated window?
hi anyone know if the window can be nominated for a new resource to open up into?
Typically I like about 6 or 7 windows on my Logos desktop, with about 20 resources in each window. So I can spend a long time scrolling through the 20 or so tabs of each of those resources, to find the new resource I've just opened, in order to drag it to the window I want to read it in. Resources seem to open up randomly here and there across the windows I have on the desktop. It would help greatly if I could nominate my main reading window before opening the resource, so it opened up exactly where I wanted it without the need to try to find which window it has opened up in, and scroll amongst the tabs on that window before dragging it to my main reading window.

No you can't do that, sorry.
What you can do when you have the "open dialog" open is to "drag" the resource to the panel you want
In my example, above, I could drag the NIV to a panel of my choice

Unfortunately I already drag the new resource to the panel I want, but the issue Is finding the resource which has just opened if i have abt 150 or more resources open spread across 6-8 panels. It is necessary to scroll amongst about 20 or more resources in each panel to find the new one which has just opened up before dragging it to the panel i want.
I find it very helpful to work with a lot of open resources, or it would be if new resources could be opened up in a nominated panel
do you think this feature might be added to Logos?

I think you misunderstood. The point is you drag it to where you want it in the very act of opening it, not afterwards. Type the name (or first few letters) of the resource into the command bar, and then drag from the matching resource name in the dropdown menu to the place where you want it to open.
