Home page side bar

Could someone save me some time and tell me how I can change what appears on the HomePage SideBar
(the left hand section of the HomePage).
I also can't change what appears in the main section of the HomePage. The Help pages tell me I should be able to "See a list of recently updated resources with individual links to open each new resource".
Thx

Click on the small cog in the top-right corner of the homepage and choose the options you want

Am I to understand that the Anglican and Orthodox blogs are still missing from the list, even in L6?

This echos most current web designs, so it actually makes sense here. Facebook, Gmail, Logos.com, Twitter, Yahoo, Faithlife. All have settings in the top right corner of the page.

I wonder if it is because when you un-click everything the left side bar goes completely away and allows the page to be full width. Before they had to keep the settings button showing in the left panel so it was always there even if empty. I love this change. Never paid for Logos 5 upgrade but this alone may get me to buy the crossgrades (well they may be a great offer too).
