My mac book pro is running OS X 10.7.5.  The minimum requirement is OS X Mavericks 10.9.  When I run the Apple update utility, it tells me I am up to date.

Do I need to make any updates to my OS before upgrading to logos 6?  Where would I go to get the update?  It looks like the latest update on the app store is OS X Yosemite (10.10).  Should I jump from 10.7.5 to 10.10?

On 10.7, the Apple update utility will only tell you about updates for your current OS version. Starting in 10.8, the update functionality was moved to the App Store, which will also tell you about OS version updates.

In order to use Logos 6, you have to be running 10.9 at a minimum. At this point in time, Apple no longer makes 10.9 available on the App Store since they released 10.10 earlier this month. If you want to upgrade to Logos 6, you will need to upgrade to 10.10 (unless you have a copy of 10.9 available somewhere to install) from the App Store.
