Keynote

I installed Logos 6 Gold last night. Looking great and am enjoying discovering all the new functionality.
One thing that seems "broken" but I want to verify is that an export to Keynote is not showing up in the places I think it should. For example, if I right click on an image, it is there but when I select any text, it is not.
Also, when I use the Print/Export feature, it is not an option there either. Neither is powerpoint for that matter.
My question is should it be there and there is just something wrong with my install?
BTW I am on a Macbook Pro running Yosemite and the latest version of Keynote.
Thank you in advance for any input!

Hey Ed,
Doesn't sound like anything's wrong.
First of all, if you're working on a presentation, make sure you're using the new Visual Copy feature to get images formatted for that specific purpose.
Print/Export is designed more for handouts, that why you don't see export to keynote or powerpoint options there.
On the Keynote issue: we would love to make the same connectivity with Keynote that we have with Powerpoint, but Apple doesn't make their code available in the same way that Microsoft does. The best work around is to export an image from Visual Copy, and then import to Keynote. The extra step is a bummer, but the final product will be the same.
Hope that helps.

Thank you!
I think what has confused me is the referenced to Keynote in the Logos Help section under Print/Export. Maybe I am reading it wrong? See this clip of the Logos help section under Print/Export:

We don't support sending the selected text to an external program on Windows or Mac, but copy and paste should work for any text selection in a resource.

These options should be available on the right hand side of the Print/Export panel for most non-text items. If they are not, can you please let us know what you are trying to Print/Export where it does not show up?

Thank you for your post!
See my image above where the Logos help section for Print/Export mentions Paste into open documents for various programs including Keynote.
I have the NIV Bible open and have a verse selected. I choose Print/Export from the resource menu. The Print/Export page displays and 'Paste into open document' only gives Microsoft Word as an option even though I have Keynote open.
So it seems something is broken OR the help section in Logos is not correct OR I am doing something wrong/my system has an issue...
Thoughts?

Ha! See there, I learned something new.

In your image above, you will also note that it states "Available links depend on Apple or Microsoft ... and the panel being exported". In the case of the NIV (and most text-based resources) we only offer exporting or pasting into Microsoft Word.

Oh o.k. That makes sense. Do you think that is because when you copy to Word it is more conducive to paste citations than it is to something like presentation software?
Thanks again for your replies! Pretty cool you guys are so involved with the community!
By the way LOVE the visual copy feature. That feature alone was worth the upgrade price to me!
