HELP! Logos 6 install issues

Hello friends. I'd like to share the sad saga that continues as I long to update to Logos 6.

Yesterday I purchased Logos 6 Gold to update my current Logos 5 Platinum.

My machine is an Apple 2012 MBP Retina with 768 GB SSD (360 used). I'm running MacOS 10.10 Yosemite.

My network connection isn't screaming, but is a sufficient 15Mbps down.

As I began to update with L5 per the instructions, the process began nicely, but then began to hang (no more network activity/downloading) and I noticed my fans coming on indicating some heavy CPU usage. I tried this again and again, but the same pattern continued.

I decided I might as well just download the new L6 installation archive and try installing that. That worked well at first (got to about 37%) and the same phenomenon occurred (no network activity, crazy CPU usage by Logosindexer process).

After repeating that process, I decided to start from scratch. I completely uninstalled every iteration of Logos from my machine. I then redownloaded the install archive and after rebooting and emptying the trash, started again.

Upon reinstalling this time, I had to begin like a brand new Logos user, to include entering e-mail & password. This began the download/setup process that started the fresh download from Logos' servers (now my download had to include the entire library...almost 15 GB).

The process started fine, but then I noticed the same thing happening as before. Through the process, I monitored CPU usage, CPU temp, and network activity. It seems that something simultaneously triggers network activity to stop suddenly (download stops), and then the Logosindexer process kicks into overdrive (up to 200% plus), which throws the fans on to cool down the 200 degree CPU cores. The whole process then stalls and downloading never picks back up.

I've called Logos Customer support, but the tech I spoke to was level I. He said they would call back later with a higher level tech, which promises hope. However, I know a few of you zealous beta-tester types on here may offer some fixes so I won't have to wait.

Thanks in advance for any ideas.

Will
