Logos 6 for Mac Updating Issue

When updating to Logos 6 on my Mac it is taking forever to download the update. I have been trying to update it for 2 days now and it keeps getting stuck at 53% or so. I did not have this problem when updating it on my computer with Windows 8, took the normal amount of time. Anyone else having this issue?

I am having somewhat the same problem.  I have made it through one update that it took my a day and an a half, now I going through another update that is going very slow.  But the most confusing thing is that I am still on logos 5.  I see that I have more books but I have none of the new features.

• Have you purchased a Logos 6 package? If so, which one?
• Is downloading and indexing still happening?

Hi Tommy,

You'll need to quit out of Logos 5 and start up Logos 6.  Are you using a PC or Mac?  And yes, the downloads are taking forever!!

There is a (now) known issue with Yosemite, which causes slow downloads and overheating. Some users have found success by using a wired connection and turning bluetooth off. See this thread for more: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/93214.aspx

Same issue.  My MacBook Pro downloaded right away...my MacBook Air is taking FOREVER!!!  It is currently at 58% of 3.86GB (which seems huge to me)...hopefully it makes it, I think I'm on the 3rd day.

Yosemite on both? By the way, why are you downloading to two? Look at this wiki page:
