Creating a Search Range - Learn from My Mistake

I was watching a video that talked about syntax searching on the Logos Youtube channel (Great resource found here: http://www.youtube.com/user/LogosBibleSoftware)

Anyway, I made a mistake in trying to create a new ranger and it frustrated me till I looked more closely.

So what I did was put the range, in this case just the book of Isaiah, in the bottom box. That is called the Range Title.(green arrow above) But I neglected to put anything in the top box at first. That is the New Reference Range. (red arrow above).  You have to have a reference range and a title. Then you can click save and it will be there from then on. If you later don't want it, just click the little X next the to the item in the list of ranges. You access this list by clicking on the first hyperlink next the Search above where it says All Passages in this picture.

Note that you can omit the step of giving the range a title and clicking Save. You can fill in Isaiah (or whatever) in the top box (red arrow) and leave the bottom one blank and hit Enter, and the new range will show up in your dropdown list thenceforth. I discovered this quite by accident when I forgot to type a range title once. It's handy.
