Is is possible/practical to create layouts for floating windows in Logos 6?
Thanks
I think the answer is "no." Can you explain more? What are you trying to do/accomplish?
You can have a layout with a floating window. Give it a name and make sure you exit Logos with the floating window open if you start Logos with the Most Recent layout - local. But if you start Logos with that specific layout you should be OK.
I just created 2 floating windows, each with elaborate arrangements, saved them as a layout (I named the layout "3 Window Delight"). They open up just as I left them. Works beautifully. The windows float as expected with layouts intact. I LOVE Logos. But now I need a 3rd monitor.
Ok - I have three monitors
1. I have a layout named Mark
2. I open up Mark with 3 windows two of them floating.
What I'd like to do is in the two floating windows instead of having simple tabs I would like to create a layout within the floating window. Otherwise I have to tab through the open panels, unlike the main window which has exactly the arraignment I need.Does that make any sense?
I have several layouts with floating windows containg several commentaries in the background. I have layouts for the OT, NT, Psalms, and a couple of special projects. I purchased the Extended Crossgrade and now I am anxious to see which of the new features I can add to my various layouts. Logos is great.
This layout is "Mark" with a floating window - The floating window contains 3 tabs which I would like to create a layout rather than a tabbed view similar to the main window. Is that possible The floating window opens find with the "Mark" layout
Is something like this what you are seeking?
Thanks all for the responses, I can now do what I was hoping for. Much appreciated.
