Is there any way to increase the size of the font on the homepage? Mine seems microscopic.

It looks microscopic in part because the font is not that good. Logos is working on fixing that. Until then, try Tools/Program Setting/Program scaling. Make something greater than 100%. It will make that text bigger, you may or may not like the look.
Mine seems microscopic.
Probably a high res monitor, but the font is horrible and large on my 1366 x 768 laptop
