Unable to open a URL that has been dragged and dropped into Favorites folders.

I recently learned how to make favorites and drag-and-drop items directly into the favorites folders, including the URL to an external website. The problem is, I've been able to do so, but when going back to that favorites folder and "clicking" on the URL link, I won't open up. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help with this? Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure what the problem is Eric, I just made a test link in my favorites folder to this post (dragged from chrome browser to the favorites).

Then I clicked it, and it opened this page.

Did you try a double click? Though I only need a single click.
