Ole, I'm trying to make sense of these logs, but it is an error I haven't seen before.
Have you emailed tech support? tech@logos.com
Not with this logs. I have tried to contact them, but it seems they are busy doing other things.[:)] I will try again. Anyway, is it possible to go back to logos 5?
Ole
Going back to Logos 5 is only possible by uninstalling L6, and reinstalling L5's engine.
I'm assuming you're unable to call tech support? Or perhaps you might try it by using skype?
I'm sure this crash is fixable (most all of them are). I'd hate to see you not get the full software.
I'll try to signal someone else to look at this and see what we can see.
One very critical question I forgot:
Are there any specific steps that are guaranteed to cause the crash?
i.e. What are you doing when this happens?
No, i just crash, nothing specific seems to provoke it.
Ole, based on your crash report, it appears that you have a corrupt note attachment. We are going to look into it on our side, but one think you might try is to rename your local notes database and start the application in offline mode (to avoid syncing in case the data on the servers is also bad).
Your logs are from your mac, but is this also happening on your Windows installation?
You can find your notes database here on Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/<userid>/Documents/Notes/notes.db
To start in offline mode, hold the command key while starting up.
It also happens on my windows computer.
What should I call the notedatabase - is it the filename I should rename or is it the folder?
You can rename the file notes.db to anything at all, like badnotes.db.old or whatever.
