I upgraded from Logos 3 to Logos 5 several months ago, and I noticed there is no longer an "Add note to Article" option; only "Add note to Selection" and "Add note to Reference".
I do like to use the "Add note to Selection" function when adding notes to Commentaries or Encyclopedias, which have long articles. I can add the note to a specific sentence (selection), which will be highlighted with the note icon in front of the selection.
I also like the "Add note to Reference" function when adding notes to Bible passages. If I add a note to John 1:1, and I will see my note in all my Bibles.
However, I used to use "Add note to Article" all the time in Logos 3 for Devotionals, which would add the note to (let's say) "November 5th - Partakers of His sufferings" of "My Utmost for His Highest". If I use "Add a note to Reference" for devotionals instead, then the note is added to every devotional with a November 5th reference. And the note I added in "My Utmost for His Highest" will most likely not make sense when I see the note in other devotionals. If I use "Add note to Selection", then I have to select something first like the title of the article, which then highlights the title, which is weird.
So, is there a way in Logos 5 to add a note to an article, like there was in Logos 3?
