Layout default when using lexionary

Can anyone tell me what controls the default layout when clicking a Scripture passage in the lexionary in sidebar?

What's being used seems to be a layout that I had saved in my layouts. It was first in my list so thought maybe it was choosing it because of that. Changed the name but still the same layout coming up. Deleted it and still the same layout coming up.

My understanding is that Custom Layouts do not correlate with those layouts which open automatically from the Homepage. If it matched a layout you built or saved I suspect that may be a coincidence. This would explain why it keeps coming up after you deleted it.

Between the input from Fredc and some other info I found, I figured out what's going on. You are correct about the coincidence. It turns out that it's picking up top versions and single top commentary from my prioritized list. Thus, it matched my default layout because I had those prioritized resources opening in my default layout.
