Ugaritic Ba'al cycle and the Psalms
Can anyone suggest a good commentary that not only mentions, but thoroughly comments on the Ugaritic Ba'al cycle in Psalms?
OR, a commentary on the Cycle?

I know little to nothing about the Ba'al cycle in Psalms, but a quick search of Logos.com returns:

If you have Logos 6, you might try to run a few examples on Psalm passages you've isolated to see what other material may be referenced in that portion of the dataset. On a whim, I ran Ps 82.1 by Ancient Literature, and here's what I got for Ancient Near-Eastern Material:

This 'takes liberties' which I prefer, since I can examine the liberties. And affordable. It's not the long-winded type. I went thru it with a fine-tooth comb and then attached everything to the OT passages, similar to Rick's.
