groups tool - i'm lost

Today's Logos blog is about groups to join using the groups tool. Unfortunately it does not in any intelligible way tell me how to join any groups.
When i open the groups tool, it pops up a side bar. Since I have never joined any groups it is blank/empty. I see no obvious way to get a list of groups so I can choose ones to join. when i click on the My Faithlife it takes me to faithlife.com and has me logged in. from this point, I still can see no way to get a listing of groups or to join a group, though there is a button to create a group. This is completely unintuitive.
I'm compelled to ask why there is a blog post today telling me I should join groups without telling me in any way how to do this.
frustrated.

It is recommending that we join four particular groups
- Logos Author Collections
- Logos Sample Documents
- Logos Library Theology / Denomination Tags
- Logos Product Collections
If you click on any of these in the blog you will be taken to that group within Faithlife where you will see a "Join" button
If you press that button you will be given access to documents and discussions in those groups - and they will then appear in your Logos 6 Groups Tool
Hope this helps

Thanks guys. Clicking on the links works.
however, are you guys saying there is no way to see a list if groups? I am intrigued by this tool, and i'm joining some if these groups, but i feel that i might be interested in other groups, too. Is there no way to get a list of groups?

Hi John,
I'm sorry your frustrated. You can visit each of the 4 groups listed in the post by clicking the links below:
- Logos Author Collections
- Logos Sample Documents
- Logos Library Theology/Denominational Tags
- Logos Product Collections
Or you can search for groups on Faithlife.com using the search box.
Once you find a group you'd like to join, look for these options in the sidebar.
Here's a post about the privacy settings and what each level of involvement means.

At Faithlife.com (the top level page for these collaborative capabilities) there is a search box which does enable you to search for groups - but you really need to have an idea of what their names are first
The philosophy behind this - I believe - is that you are either going to create a group or to join a group to which you have been invited by someone you know in "real life". So there isn't any mechanism, that I am aware of, to get a complete list.
