It's a Great Day for Me and Logos 6

It's official. We are friends again. Our relationship was a little rocky there this past week, and I seriously thought of go back to 5, simply to make it easy again, even though I try to never go back...just forward.

BUT...6 shaped up...got himself together (with a little guidance from some forum friends) , indexed himself as he should, and quit listing 10+ foreign language resources (advertised IN that language) on my home page.

It was a rocky beginning, but I think we may just pull through! Big Smile Wink

Congrats! And Cynthia, slightly off topic, but every time I see your screen name I feel a bit odd, because I live in Florida too! The first time I saw your name I asked myself, "when did I post that?" And then of course realized it wasn't me, lol. I'm in Tampa by the way.

Thanks. It was SO frustrating, and last week I was trying to prep to teach and could barely get anything done.

BTW...my daughter lives in Tampa. She goes to grad school there, living on Davis Island. LOVES it there!

When I downloaded 6 it was a full day before I could explore it, so I definitely understand your pain. Fortunately I haven't run into any other problems yet. And really it's so frustrating when all your tools are inaccessible!

You don't look old enough to have a daughter in grad school.

It's interesting your use of the male gender when referring to L6. And then I noticed that all those, besides myself, who replied to your post were female in gender.

Good luck Cynthia on your new relationship. Make sure you let him 'think' he's the boss. And if you haven't heard it before: "I'm the head of the house hold and my wife is the neck and we know who turns the neck."

OK, MM. Not to intrude into the use of 'all' equaling one of the Cynthias living in Florida.

But your famous saying. I tried hard, but best I can determine, there's a third party? You=head Wife=neck/neck and then something/one 'turns the neck'. Your dog? He's been missing on the forums for months, you know.

Our buddy - AKA Skeeter (golden lab) is outside right now laying down on the front lawn. It's cool here, -1 or -6 with the wind chill but he sure likes the cooler weather. He'll be 14 December 14th and we're not too sure how long he'll be with us. That will be a huge loss to our family. The boss just came home and let him in. He's here right now in my office/study wagging his tail and making sure I'm around. He's just as dependent on me as I him.

Maybe I should change my avatar from a fragment back to him and our youngest daughter who incidentally had a tremendous time in Thailand.

Well I'd love to chat more, but my favourite football team (Hamilton Tiger Cats) are playing against the Montreal Alouettes in the Steel City. By the way my very first CFL game I saw in person was the Ti-Cats. Big brother took me there when I was a younger man - not too long ago. That reminds me of a sermon I heard Chuck Swindol preach last week. He asked this question:
