Vijay,
I can't help you with your cursor problem, but I need to warn you against putting your email address in plain text. Disguise it so that a human can understand it, but bots cannot harvest it to send you spam.
EXAMPLE: falseID@NoName.com becomes falseID at NoName.com.
Click on the "More" button on your post and select "Edit" to do this.
the cursor simply turned into a red paintbrush like object
This is a "presentation" feature of Logos that can be activated by pressing F8. To go back to normal mode, press Esc.
Now Logos has disappeared from my computer and am not able to find it. When I click on the LogosSetup.exe file it says "Logos is upto date".
Bradley, I suspect this is his main need for urgent help right now, though thanks for explaining the drawing cursor thing to him. I'd forgotten all about that presentation feature.
Vijay, what computer/OS are you running? If it's Windows, are you able to find Logos by clicking the Start button and typing Logos? If so maybe the icon simply disappeared from your desktop or Start menu, and you can pin it back there.
Hi Rosie.....I am using Windows 7 and when I click START I do not find Logos in the Programs. When I type Logos it appears and when I click on that nothing happens. The icon is sitting in the tray andd when I click that too nothing happens.
Sounds like perhaps a Logos process is still running. If you bring up Task Manager and click on the Processes tab, do you see an instance of logos.exe there? If so, end it. Then try again to run Logos by typing it in the Start menu. If that still doesn't work, try rebooting your computer and doing the same. Finally, if that doesn't work, try uninstalling Logos (via the Control Panel, Programs and Features) and reinstalling it from scratch. Someone else might be able to suggest a shorter method than this latter, because it will be slow/painful and you want to work around having to reinstall if at all possible. But I'm about to head to bed and don't have time to help you further tonight.
Under processes there were 2 entries of logos.exe. I ended both of them and bravo something is wrking. Thanks for the help!!
