I'm sure I'm at fault, but: library search remembers text search

Hi there. (Brand new to Logos.)

Lets say I have done a search on Genesis 6 from my home page. I have finished what I wanted to read/study and the project is finished.

When opening the Library tab and click on my favourite translation to open that specific Bible, it opens at Genesis 6, the last Scripture search I have done.

Is this how it should be as this is very annoying. Can I change it to not do that? (I hope you understand my question. Embarrassed)

Best Regards,

Resources of all kinds (including bibles) remember the last place they were at, and they will open to that place again when you open them up.  That is by design, and I, for one, appreciate that feature.

Where should do you think your bible should open up (if not to the last place it was opened to)?

Logos remembers where you leave every book when you close it, not just Bibles. However, if you type a bible reference into the command line, it will open your preferred bible there and not where you closed it last.

    Thanx for the help.

I thought it would have opened at the index or 1st page. But, reading your replies, I have to agree with you.

    Thanx again.

Yeah, I think version 3 always opened to the start of a resource.  I really do like the new way--it's like having an automatic bookmark.
