Highlighting Doesn't Work

Highlighting from the Highlighting tool doesn't work. I created a shortcut, that didn't work.
I tried a Visual Filter, that works.
I upgraded to Logos 6 Gold via the Extended Crossgrade.
My Mac OS X is Yosemite (10.10).
Any ideas why Highlighting doesn't work?

I'll let other Yosemite owners comment on the issue, but Highlighting should work as it did in Logos 5!
Note that the Extended Crossgrade doesn't give you Logos 6 Gold even if you had Logos 5 Gold; it gives you all the features of Logos 6, though.

Thanks, Dave.
My statement was poorly worded. I was attempting to included the base package info in case someone thought it germane.
I was at Logos 5 Gold and crossgraded to Logos 6.I understand highlighting "should" work as in version 5, but that's the point. For me it's not working.
Maybe it is a Yosemite problem.I have a problem with my brain:
On the left side nothing's right and on the right side nothings left. So, I'm looking for input from all you brainiacs before I go to Logos with the problem.Jon

Maybe it is a Yosemite problem. It should work the same, yes... There was an update to resources which added more to the "smart selection" feature (which isnt new in L6). It doesn't sound like you are having "smart selection" problems, however, since you can't highlight at all.
I am using both L6 and Yosemite without any problems with highlighting. Have you tried restarting your computer? If so, and if you are still having troubles, you might want to call Logos.
