I noticed twice now the stipulation "if you have a Logos Base Package". Does this man if user owns one of these books, but purchased without a base package, they cannot access them on the iPhone?0 -

Are you sure you meant to say "that is correct" to this question? It sounds like what the person is asking if this:
Let's say I downloaded Logos 4 and only bought the MacArthur NT Commentaries and nothing else. Then if what he is asking is true, one could not access that because they did not first buy a base package. But if you bought a base package, like the Bible Study Library, and added MacArthur then you would be able to use them. If that is the question, then I think it is wrong. Please un-confuse me? If that is possible.

Are you sure you meant to say "that is correct" to this question?
Yes. It is correct that a person has to be a Logos 4 customer to access any titles outside of the Bibles and other free resources for logos.com account holders. So, in your example the person downloaded the free engine and then bought a book. This person would not have access to the title on the iPhone. iPhone compatibility is not built into the engine by itself. iPhone compatibility is an add-on feature for those who have purchased Logos 4. You'll notice in the comparison chart that "iPhone Access Enablement" is listed as a feature of the Logos 4 base packages.
Does that clear things up?
