Notes

When adding notes to books I would hi-lite the words I wanted to write a note about and those
words would appear as a hyperlink in the notes file - now it appears as regular text with the hyperlinking the chapter heading of the hi-lited text
How do I get it to hyperlink the hi-lited text?
Thanks,
j

Are you using Logos 3 or Logos 4? If you are in Logos 4 that would explain it. Hyperlinking isn't quite what it was in 3.0.
In 4.0 you should still get a little yellow box (color of your choice) next to the right location and the actual text you selected should be highlighted.
BTW: for a faster response it is best to post in the forum of the version you are using, rather than the general forum, unless the post is of a general nature and nor version specific.

Thanks Mark,
I'm using L4 - the problem is not in the text itself but in the file where the note is stored
I want the phrase/text i'm annotating to show up as the hyperlink not the chapter heading

I know. It just doesn't do that in L4. I don't know if there are plans in this direction, but it wouldn't hurt to post a suggestion about this in the Suggestions forum.

It was working like that before in L4 - all of a sudden it won't do it
I thought it might have been a settings issue

If I am understanding you correctly, I believe that is the way it works. If you select the text you want to comment on, it become the title of that particular note. If you click on that title in the Note File, it will take you to the referenced text.
