Indexing stopping at different points

I've never encountered an Indexing problem either on my workstation or notebook - till yesterday.

Now, on my Windows 8.1 64-bit Workstation, the Index building stops at different positions - I've tried rebuild index, machine reboots, etc. Grabbed the update that was available today - no joy...

I can, of course, still do all my reading plans etc - but I am curious as to why this is happening.

For indexing we need the indexer logs.

Does it stop when indexing updates/new resources? Does it resume after stopping/killing the Indexer?

If you don't have any updates then make sure logging is enabled and use the command rebuild bible index. When indexing stops compress/zip the log files folder and upload it as per the wiki, before you restart Logos or indexing.

Okay - I just got a notification of an update (not SR4 which I grabbed earlier) so I grabbed that and just seeing if the Indexer has better luck this time.

The Log File I zipped up was the only one created today when I ran with diagnostic. The Indexing just sort of freezes, but Logos keeps working.

So if it fails again, I will follow the steps you have given me and upload that file - many thanks

Okay this time and the last it stopped at 40% and after about 30 minutes of inactivity I stopped it.

Earlier today I had 29% twice - and IIRC it was at about 58% when I left it running over night.

So I've stopped it - started whilst pressing ctrl - rebuild index - and the zip of the folder is below:

Two resources are corrupt: LLS:1.0.40 and LLS:1.0.71. Type an Id into the Command box to discover its title. Open the resource and then go to the Resource Information to discover the file names under Support Info e.g.

Delete all these files (.lbsrvi included) from your resource folder at \Logos5\Data\p2bd5j22.2oe\ResourceManager\Resources.

Restart Logos.
