Consistent or Constant Page Layout with iOS

I am a visual memorizer.  Having a given verse appear in the same location of a page (or screen...) every time makes it much easier for me to memorize.  Is there a way to do this with the iOS app?  In other apps (which, sadly, are no longer supported!), I could always force a chapter to start at the top of the left column.  As long as I kept the font the same size, the page layout would be the same every time, so a given verse would always appear in the same location on the screen.

This is obviously trivial with a hard copy, but alas...

    Sorry, no.

I assume you know the two-finger 'move the text' gesture?  I'm always using that to re-position relative to notes.  If indeed memorization works better by position, then starting the text off (i.e. at chapter beginning) will do the trick.   I remember by position too.

There's actually another technique that takes advantage of a fluke in the iOS Logos app. It automatically repositions the text at the top.  I forgot how; it's a  bit of a headache normally.
