I understand that some of the new features will move to at least some Logos 5 customers. Can someone share the current plan about what will and won't be given to existing customers? THanks!
from what I understand, L5 will not receive any additional features above what 5.2b SR7 has. However, on Feb 3, users can upgrade to Logos6 for free and receive several new features.
I think that what you heard is that Logos 5.3 beta users are being given a quick upgrade path to the free Logos 6 engine (before everyone else who has to wait until February) to placate them after there was some disgruntlement that Logos 5.3 was never going to be released; it had been abandoned since L6 shipped and superseded it. The beta testers felt stuck because they had a beta product and had put in their time risking an unstable product to report bugs. So they'll get only the features that are in the free engine. No new resources or datasets. That's my understanding. And if you were not in on the beta, then this does not apply to you.

You can see the handful of Logos 6 features that will come with the free core engine. Most of the new functionality requires new datasets or other resources to work, which you can get in one of our crossgrades or upgrades.
