Compile Books

I just started converting my own public domain books. I have it in a format I can work with. My book is spell checked, but what do I need to do next. Do I need to tag it ? If so how can I do it ? What is the best way to set up a book ?
This is my fist time undertaking this task, most help I have found over the web is useless. I was hoping some seasoned book compilers here could help me get my feet wet. Any information that would help me prepare my books for Logos would be helpful.. Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the Personal Book Builder or something else?

Actually, I was going to purchase PBB, however I did not. It is soon to be obsolete, so I am patiently waiting for the new version. However, I want to prepare my books so when the new version comes out I will be ready. I am assuming that I can set the books up the same way as the old version. Unfortunately, I am at a disadvantage not having used the old version.
So that is my status... I want to prepare but dont really know how. I have a lot of resources and do not want a late start.

That's no necessarily a safe assumption to make. Nobody out here in the wilds knows what the L4 version of PBB will require or be capable of.Blair Laird said:I want to prepare my books so when the new version comes out I will be ready. Wish I could be more help.

My assumption is a step in the dark. I am not the type to twittle my thumbs... Is there a way I can use ms word to somehow tag my references?Or should I just purchase Pbb for version 3?

Blair, anything you do beyond just the thorough editing of the text that you've done already could end up being a waste of your time. We have not been told yet whether L4's PBB format will be the same as or even similar to L3's or whether it will read in old L3 PPB's. We all hope it will, as hours of time has gone into making L3 PBBs, but we are as "in the dark" about it as you are. So I'd find another project to busy yourself with in the meantime.
